Формирование и реализация жилищной политики. Участие в разработке муниципальных программ (по переселению из аварийного жилья, поддержке молодых семей), участие в планировании строительства и содержания муниципального жилищного фонда. Работа с муниципальным жилищным фондом. Организация содержания и эксплуатации жилья, контроль за его состоянием, решение вопросов с ветхими и аварийными домами. Жилищный контроль. Осуществление муниципального контроля: проверка соблюдения жилищного законодательства, в том числе в части предоставления жилых помещений, использования жилфонда. v Взаимодействие с собственниками и управляющими организациями. Представление интересов администрации как собственника жилья на общих собраниях собственников, при заключении договоров управления многоквартирными домами. В отдельных случаях содействие в организации открытых конкурсов по отбору управляющих организаций. Подготовка к сезонным и чрезвычайным ситуациям. Организация и контроль подготовки жилищного фонда и объектов ЖКХ к отопительному сезону, а также участие в ликвидации последствий ЧС, связанных с жильём. Координация подведомственных структур. Руководство или оперативное управление структурными подразделениями (управление жилищной политики, сектор жилищных отношений), а также муниципальными предприятиями и учреждениями в жилищной сфере. Работа с обращениями граждан. Проведение приёмов, рассмотрение заявлений, жалоб и предложений жителей по жилищным вопросам, принятие по ним мер в пределах компетенции. Разработка правовых актов. Подготовка проектов муниципальных правовых актов по вопросам своей компетенции. Представительство и взаимодействие. Выполнение представительских функций при взаимодействии со СМИ, общественными организациями, другими органами власти по жилищным вопросам. Участие в работе координационных и совещательных органов. Возглавляет или входит в состав комиссий и рабочих групп по жилищным вопросам.
