Диагностика и лечение: проведение амбулаторного приемаобследование пациентов с подозрением на туберкулезпостановка диагнозаназначение индивидуальных схем лечения и контроль за эффективностью и непрерывностью контролируемой химиотерапии. Диспансерное наблюдение: ведение учета больных туберкулезомлиц с повышенным риском заболевания и контактирующих с больными лиц; динамическое наблюдение за состоянием здоровья. Противоэпидемические мероприятия: работа в очагах туберкулезной инфекцииорганизация обследования окружения больныхпрофилактика распространения заболевания. Профилактика: проведение мероприятий по профилактике туберкулезаорганизация вакцинации (БЦЖ) и диагностики (пробы МантуДиаскинтест). Документация и отчетность: ведение медицинской документациианализ эпидемиологических показателей (заболеваемостисмертности) на участке. Работа с пациентами: обучение пациентов и их окружения правилам безопасностисанитарно-просветительская деятельностьвыписка рецептов и направление на санаторно-курортное лечение. Посещение на дому: посещение больных на дому в день поступления вызова для наблюдения и организации лечения.

Врач-фтизиатр участковый это специалист с высшим медицинским образованием ( Лечебное дело или Педиатрия )прошедший ординатуру/интернатуру по фтизиатрии или профессиональную переподготовку. Он осуществляет диагностикулечение и диспансерное наблюдение пациентов с туберкулезома также проводит профилактические и противоэпидемические мероприятия на закрепленном участке.
