На водителя автомобиля возлагаются следующие должностные обязанности: управление легковыми автомобилями всех типов, грузовыми автомобилями (автопоездами) всех типов грузоподъемностью до 10 тонн (автопоездов - по суммарной грузоподъемности автомобиля и прицепа), автобусами габаритной длиной до 7 метров; заправка автомобилей топливом, смазочными материалами и охлаждающей жидкостью;проверка технического состояния и прием автомобиля перед выездом на линию, сдача его и постановка на отведенное место по возвращении; обеспечение корректного профессионального вождения автомобиля, максимально обеспечивающего сохранность жизни и здоровья пассажиров и технически исправное состояние самого автомобиля, предвидеть любую дорожную обстановку; выбирать скорость движения и дистанцию, исключающие возникновение аварийной ситуации; следить за техническим состоянием автомобиля и нести ответственность за выезд на автомобиле в неисправном состоянии, выполнять самостоятельно необходимые работы по обеспечению его безопасной эксплуатации (согласно инструкции по эксплуатации), своевременно проходить техническое обслуживание в сервисном центре и технический осмотр. Своевременно подавать заявки, необходимые для обеспечения надлежащего технического состояния автомобиля и. т д.
