Осуществляет медицинский осмотр детей при поступлении в отделение, обеспечивает обработку детей и принадлежащих им вещей; Ведет постоянное наблюдение за состоянием здоровья несовершеннолетних детей, особенно имеющих отклонения в состоянии здоровья, оказывает медицинскую помощь, выполняет назначения врача; Следит за внешним видом несовершеннолетних детей; Осуществляет соблюдение противоэпидемических мероприятий; Контролирует санитарно-гигиенического состояния помещений; Следит за общим порядком и чистотой в корпусах, комнатах, за соблюдением сотрудниками соответствующих инструкций и правил; Осуществляет медицинский контроль за организацией физического воспитания, состоянием и содержанием мест пребывания детей; Выполняет контроль за работой пищеблока и питанием детей; Осуществляет ведение медицинской документации; Осуществляет соблюдение СанПин 3648-20 Санитарно эпидемиологические требования к организациям воспитания и обучения, отдыха и оздоровления детей и молодежи; Оказывает неотложную доврачебную помощь при острых заболеваниях, несчастных случаях и различных видах катастроф с последующими вызовами врача к пациенту или направлению его в больницу. Проводит санитарно-просветительскую работу по укреплению здоровья и профилактике заболеваний, пропаганде ЗОЖ; Своевременно и качественно выполняет профилактические и лечебно диалогические процедуры, назначенные врачом. Реализует все этапы сестринского процесса при уходе за больными детьми. Следит за правильной утилизацией отходов по классам и ведет документацию; Систематически повышает свою профессиональную квалификацию; Выполняет поручения директора учреждения и заведующего отделением. На период отсутствия старшей медицинской сестры (ежегодный, дополнительный, учебный оплачиваемый отпуск; отпуск без сохранения заработной платы; больничный лист и др.) обязанности по составлению ежедневного меню, возлагаются на медицинскую сестру смены.
