- Получает задание на маневровую работу; - Руководит движением локомотива, выполняющего маневровую работу; - Контролирует соблюдение правил безопасности движения поездов при выполнении маневровой работы; - Ознакамливает работников, участвующих в выполнении маневровой с изменением плана маневровой работы; - Ведет служебные переговоры в соответствии с регламентом при руководстве действиями работников, участвующих в маневровой работе; - Контролирует правильность разъединения (соединения) тормозных рукавов при маневровых передвижениях и при прицепке и отцепке вагонов; - Прицепляет (отцепляет) вагоны (специальный железнодорожный подвижной состав) к поездам при выполнении маневровой работы; -Подает вагоны (специальный железнодорожный подвижной состав) на специализированные (в том числе на погрузочно-разгрузочные) пути; - Убирает вагоны (специальный железнодорожный подвижной состав) со специализированных (в том числе с погрузочно-разгрузочных) путей; - Переставляет составы (группы вагонов, специальный железнодорожный подвижной состав) с одного пути на другой, из парка в парк; - Подает установленные сигналы при выполнении маневровой работы; - Проверяет состояние и правильность размещения и крепления груза в вагонах согласно техническим условиям (правилам перевозки груза); - Снимает средства закрепления из-под составов (групп вагонов, специального железнодорожного подвижного состава); - Проверяет надежность сцепления вагонов между собой и с поездами; - Определяет правильность формирования составов (групп вагонов) на железнодорожной станции; - Выполняет расформирование (формирование) составов (групп вагонов), занятых людьми, загруженных негабаритными и опасными грузами; - Осуществляет перевод централизованных стрелок, переданных на местное управление; - Пользуется специальными средствами связи при расформировании (формировании) составов (групп вагонов); - Проверяет правильность закрепления подвижного состава средствами закрепления в конце смены и производит пономерной учет тормозных башмаков в конце смены с отражением данных в специализированном журнале учета; -Производит маневровую работу методом одиночных изолированных толчков; - Выполняет работу при выполнении маневровой работы методом одиночных изолированных толчков по регулированию скорости движения вагонов при помощи укладки специальной вилкой тормозных башмаков под ободы колес движущихся вагонов и регулирует скорость соударения вагонов в пределах допустимой; - Производит очистку стрелок от снега в зимний период.
