осуществлять подготовку заключений о соответствии Конституции Российской Федерации, Уставу (Основному Закону) Омской области, федеральному и областному законодательству, правилам юридической техники проектов правовых актов, в том числе проектов правовых актов, поступивших на рассмотрение Губернатору Омской области, в Правительство Омской области, проектов договоров и соглашений Омской области; разрабатывать проекты правовых актов (федеральных и областных законов, указов и распоряжений Губернатора Омской области, постановлений и распоряжений Правительства Омской области и др.); визировать проекты правовых актов в качестве юриста или исполнителя; обеспечивать подготовку замечаний, предложений и поправок Губернатора Омской области к рассматриваемым Законодательным Собранием Омской области проектам областных законов, иных правовых актов; разрабатывать и вносить на рассмотрение руководителей предложения по совершенствованию правового регулирования и подготавливать соответствующие проекты нормативных правовых актов Омской области; регулярно отслеживать изменения в федеральном и областном законодательстве; выявлять правовые акты Омской области, противоречащие федеральному и областному законодательству, а также устаревшие или утратившие значимость, и вносить начальнику Главного управления, заместителю начальника Главного управления начальнику управления, заместителю начальника управления начальнику отдела, заместителю начальника отдела предложения о признании их утратившими силу или об их изменении; осуществлять подготовку проектов ответов на обращения федеральных органов государственной власти, органов государственной власти Омской области, органов местного самоуправления Омской области, граждан, организаций; и др.

Наличие высшего образования по направлению подготовки Юриспруденция, специальностям Правоохранительная деятельность, Правовое обеспечение национальной безопасности или иным специальностям и направлениям подготовки, содержащимся в ранее применяемых перечнях специальностей и направлений подготовки, для которых законодательством об образовании Российской Федерации установлено соответствие указанным специальностям и направлению подготовки (в том числе по специальности Правоведение )
