Работник выполняет следующие обязанности: удаляет пыль с мебели, подоконников, элементов интерьера, дверных ручек, выключателей; подметает и моет вручную полы, стены, оконные рамы и стёкла на закреплённом участке; убирает мусор (собирает в пакет или корзину) и относит его в установленное место сбора; после каждой перемены проводит влажную уборку санузлов: чистит и дезинфицирует унитазы, раковины и другое санитарно-техническое оборудование; очищает урны от бумаги и при необходимости промывает их безопасными дезинфицирующими растворами; по окончании рабочей смены убирает своё рабочее место (инвентарь, средства уборки); по окончании работы проверяет, выключены ли в убираемых помещениях свет и другие электроприборы, закрыты ли окна и двери; в начале и в конце рабочего дня осуществляет короткий обход закреплённого участка: проверяет исправность замков, запорных устройств, кранов, раковин, выключателей, розеток, лампочек, батарей.

Кандидат должен быть способен выполнять несложные физические задачи в рамках утверждённых норм предельно допустимых нагрузок для лиц моложе 18 лет (в т. ч. при подъёме и перемещении грузов). Готовность использовать выдаваемые средства индивидуальной защиты (перчатки и др.), строго следовать инструкциям по применению разрешённых моющих и дезинфицирующих средств, своевременно информировать руководителя о неисправностях, утечках, иных опасных ситуациях. Отсутствие медицинских противопоказаний к работе в помещениях. В том числе к контакту с бытовой химией в разрешённых объёмах, к длительным периодам ходьбы и стояния, к выполнению рутинных действий по поддержанию чистоты. Личные качества. Ответственность, внимательность, аккуратность, готовность соблюдать внутренний распорядок организации и правила охраны труда.
