Управление экскаватором при производстве вскрышных, добычных, переэкскавационных, зачистных, отвальных и погрузочно-разгрузочных работ. Разработку почвенной массы и грунта. Перемещение топлива и различных материалов на складах, на транспортные средства, в отвал. Перемещение почвенной массы, грунта на борт карьера или в отвал. Планировку забоя, верхней и нижней площадок уступа. Перемещение экскаватора в процессе работы. Осуществляет заоткоску уступов на промежуточных складах на должную величину угла склада при транспортировании почвенной массы автомобилями,производство работ по заоткоске уступов по конечному контуру, разработку дренажной канавы. Производит очистку габарита на приямке. Обеспечивает технически правильнуюразработку забоя и эффективного использования экскаватора. Выявляет и устраняет неисправности в работе экскаватора. Производит текущий ремонт и участвует во всех других видах ремонта обслуживаемого экскаватора и прицепных устройств. Заправку экскаватора горючими и смазочными материалами и водой, очистку ковша от налипшего грунта, обслуживает сменное навесное оборудование экскаватора. Рабочий день с 08.00 до 17.00.

Образование от основного общего. Наличие категорийВ для техники с двигателями 25,7 квт (на колесном и гусеничном ходу) и категории С для машин с двигателями 25,7-110,3 квт (на колесном ходу). Опыт работы по заявленной профессии от 1 года. Должен знатьустройство и технические характеристики обслуживаемых экскаваторов; принцип работы механического, гидравлического и электрического оборудования экскаватора; правила балансировки экскаватора; рациональные режимы работы экскаватора и приемы черпания; приемы управления механизмами экскаватора при разработке тяжелых и легких грунтов.
