В обязанности специалиста по защите информации входит: обеспечение правильной эксплуатации технических и программных средств защиты информации; организация и обеспечение криптографической защиты информации организация и обеспечение антивирусной защиты контроль применения машинных носителей информации; контроль доступа в Интернет; контроль внутриобъектового режима; контроль резервного копирования; участие в работе экспертной комиссии по выявлению причин нарушений конфиденциальности информации ограниченного доступа, в том числе персональных данных, подготовке предложений по устранению недостатков, принятие необходимых мер по устранению выявленных нарушений и устранению предпосылок, создавших причины этих нарушений; участие в проведении расследований по фактам нарушения защиты информации в системе защиты информации и подготовке представлений руководству для принятия оперативных мер; участие в проверках подразделений Центра по вопросам защиты информации; контроль выполнения сотрудниками работ согласно перечню мероприятий по обеспечению безопасности информации ограниченного доступа, в том числе с персональными данными, ведение учета нештатных ситуаций. осуществляет контроль и анализ по заправке и ремонту картриджей и оргтехники. проведение инструктажей, принимаемых или увольняемых сотрудников по вопросам обеспечения защиты информации ограниченного доступа и персональных данных; проведение служебных расследований фактов нарушения безопасности информации; консультирование персонала объекта защиты информации по правилам работы со средствами защиты информации; обеспечение конфиденциальности охраняемой законом тайны (государственной, коммерческой, персональных данных, служебной и иной), данных ограниченного доступа, в том числе персональных данных, которые стали известны в связи с исполнением служебных обязанностей; ведение необходимой документации; уничтожение отработанных документов.

высшее образование по специальности Информационная безопасность, обладающее знаниями законодательства РФ по вопросам информационной безопасности и защиты информации от утечки по техническим каналам.
