Проводить амбулаторный прием по графику, утвержденному администрацией поликлиники, регулируя поток пациентов путем рационального назначения повторных больных. Обеспечивать квалифицированное и своевременное обследование и лечение больных, выполнять производственный план с высокими качественными показателями. Проводить обследование челюстно-лицевой области, включая: обследование мягких тканей лица, височно-нижнечелюстного сустава, слюнных желез и региональной лимфатической системы, зондирование зубов, патологических зубодесневых карманов, свищей и протоков слюнных желез, электродонтодиагностику. Выбирать и применять метод лечения: -аппаратно-хирургический; -аппаратно-протетический; -аппаратно-миотерапевтический. Обосновывать схему, план и тактику ведения больных, проводить подготовку к зубному протезированию и уметь осуществлять его при дефектах и аномалиях зубов и челюстей, выбирая методы лечения и конструкции протезов, планировать объем и сроки ортодонтического лечения. Направлять больных при наличии показаний, на дополнительные виды обследования (рентгенологические, функциональные и др.). Своевременно представлять больных на консультацию с другими специалистами, заведующим отделением, врачебной комиссии, сотрудниками кафедр. Консультировать больных по направлению других специалистов. Обеспечивать надлежащий уровень обслуживания больных и соблюдать правила медицинской деонтологии. Своевременно докладывать заведующему отделением или непосредственно заместителю главного врача по лечебной работе об угрожающих жизни переменах в состоянии здоровья пациентов, о конфликтных ситуациях, грубых нарушениях правил внутреннего распорядка и трудовой дисциплины медицинским персоналом и пациентами. Контролировать работу среднего и младшего медицинского персонала стоматологического кабинета. Систематически повышать свою профессиональную квалификацию путем изучения соответствующей литературы, участия в конференциях и семинарах. Проводить среди населения пропаганду санитарно-гигиенических знаний по вопросам профилактики заболеваний зубов и полости рта. Своевременно и грамотно заполнять утвержденную учетно-отчетную документацию.
