Некоторые должностные обязанности старшей медицинской сестры реанимационного отделения: Планирование, организация, контроль и координация деятельности сестринского и младшего медицинского персонала совместно с заведующим отделением. Обеспечение рационального использования трудовых, финансовых и материальных ресурсов отделения . Обеспечение сохранности и исправности медицинской аппаратуры и оборудования, своевременный их ремонт и списание. Проведение сверки материальных ценностей с данными учёта материальной группы бухгалтерии, обеспечение участия отделения в проведении инвентаризации материальных ценностей. Обеспечение проведения учебных мероприятий по эксплуатации медицинской техники и оборудования. Составление и предоставление заведующему отделением и руководству учреждения графиков работы и отпусков персонала отделения. Обеспечение проведения метрологической поверки и профилактики медицинского оборудования. Незамедлительное информирование заведующего отделением и главную медицинскую сестру о возникновении чрезвычайных происшествий, нарушения правил внутреннего распорядка больницы. Оформление медицинской документации, составление отчётов о проделанной работе и предоставление их руководству. Анализ качественных и количественных показателей сестринского и младшего персонала и предоставление в установленные сроки отчётов о деятельности среднего и младшего персонала. Повышение профессионального уровня знания, умения и навыки путём самообразования, участия в общебольничных сестринских конференциях, семинарах.
