Быть всегда готовым к оперативному реагированию на чрезвычайные ситуации и проведению работ по их ликвидации. Умело выполнять АСДНР в составе подразделения и самостоятельно. Совершенствовать свою профессиональную подготовку и навыки действий в составе подразделения. Вырабатывать у себя физическую выносливость и высокую работоспособность. Своевременно и точно исполнять должностные инструкции и распоряжения руководства. Своевременно прибывать в пункт дислокации отряда по сигналам оповещения и сбора. Убывать к месту работ в составе отделения, спасать людей, терпящих бедствие, оказывать помощь пострадавшим, принимать меры по ликвидации чрезвычайных ситуаций (далее ЧС) и их последствий, руководствуясь принципом гуманизма, милосердия и оправданного риска при получении задания на проведение АСНДР. Неукоснительно соблюдать технологию проведения работ и меры безопасности. Проявлять мужество, личную инициативу и находчивость при спасении людей и ликвидации ЧС. Содержать и всегда иметь исправное, готовое к применению закрепленное за ним спасательное оснащение и средства защиты; своевременно докладывать начальнику отделения об обнаруженных неисправностях и принимать меры по их устранению. Соблюдать распорядок дня, быть дисциплинированным, на службе находиться в установленной форме одежды.

Эти знания будут вашим преимуществом приемы и способы оказания первой помощи пострадавшим, само- и взаимопомощи; устройство и правила безопасной эксплуатации и обслуживания, состоящих на оснащении аварийно-спасательного отряда транспортных средств, аварийно-спасательного инструмента, оборудования и снаряжения; методы и приемы радиосвязи; приемы самоконтроля и основы выживания в экстремальных условиях; способы поиска, извлечение и транспортировки, пострадавших в различных условиях; правила и нормы охраны труда, техники безопасности, производственной санитарии и противопожарной безопасности.
