Решение организационных вопросов . Участие в рабочих совещаниях, проводимых заведующим отделением, главной медицинской сестрой и руководителем учреждения. Выполнение поставленных руководством производственных задач, привлечение штатных и смежных служб обеспечения, контроль качества выполненных ими работ. Ведение документации . Составление графиков работы, оформление аптечных заявок на получение необходимых лекарственных средств, порционных требований для пищеблока. Ведение строгого учёта выдачи лекарственных средств сотрудникам, обеспечение сохранности бланков строгой отчётности.

Среднее медицинское образование по специальности Сестринское дело или Лечебное дело . Сертификат специалиста по специальности Управление сестринской деятельностью или соответствующее свидетельство об аккредитации специалиста . Стаж работы по специальности не менее 5 лет в должности медицинской сестры. Профессиональная переподготовка по организации сестринского дела продолжительностью не менее 252 часов. Программа включает изучение основ менеджмента в здравоохранении, психологии управления, медицинской этики и правовых аспектов медицинской деятельности. Повышение квалификации каждые 5 лет в объёме не менее 36 академических часов.
