Уход за пациентами и наблюдение за их состоянием: приём и размещение пациентов в палате, проверка качества санитарной обработки при поступлении; систематическое измерение и фиксация температуры тела, артериального давления, пульса, частоты дыхания; контроль физиологических отправлений, аппетита, сна; выявление и своевременное информирование врача об изменениях в состоянии пациента; профилактика пролежней, падений, инфекций, связанных с оказанием медицинской помощи; помощь в гигиеническом уходе (умывание, смена белья, обработка кожных покровов), поддержка при физиологических отправлениях у лежачих пациентов. Выполнение врачебных назначений: выдача пероральных препаратов по листу назначений строго по времени и дозировке; выполнение инъекций (внутримышечных, подкожных, внутривенных в зависимости от объёма допуска) и контроль за их проведением; постановка капельниц и контроль за их проведением (при наличии допуска); сбор биоматериала на лабораторные исследования по назначению врача; подготовка пациентов к диагностическим исследованиям, операциям, инструментальным процедурам; ассистирование врачу при перевязках, пункциях и других манипуляциях в палате; получение, хранение, учёт и применение лекарственных препаратов, медицинских изделий и лечебного питания в соответствии с нормативными актами и инструкциями. Работа с документацией и взаимодействие: ведение медицинской документации: температурные листы, листы назначений, журналы передачи смены, учёта препаратов строгого учёта и другие; передача дежурства: устная и письменная информация о состоянии пациентов, выполненных назначениях, нерешённых вопросах; взаимодействие с младшим медицинским персоналом контроль за выполнением гигиенических мероприятий, обработкой палат; информирование родственников о состоянии пациента в рамках своей компетенции и с разрешения врача.
