1.1. Слесарь по ремонту автомобилей относится к категории рабочих и подчиняется главному механику, назначается на должность и освобождается от нее приказом генерального директора. 1.2. Для работы слесарем по ремонту автомобилей нужны: среднее специальное образование; стаж работы от полугода по профессии слесаря по ремонту автомобилей. 1.3. Слесарь по ремонту автомобилей должен знать: локальные нормативные акты общего характера и по направлению деятельности, трудовое и гражданское законодательство РФ в объеме, нужном для выполнения профессиональных обязанностей; конструктивное устройство и технические особенности обслуживаемых автомобильных транспортных средств (далее АТС); назначение и правила применения ручных слесарно‑монтажных, пневматических и электрических инструментов, нужных для выполнения должностных обязанностей; технические условия, ГОСТы, технические регламенты на ремонт, сборку, испытания и регулировку различных агрегатов, узлов; электрические и монтажные схемы любой сложности и взаимодействие приборов и агрегатов в них; способы выявления и устранения причин износа и поломок сопряженных деталей; правила и нормы охраны труда, техники безопасности и противопожарной защиты в объеме, нужном для выполнения должностных обязанностей. 1.4. Слесарь по ремонту автомобилей должен уметь: производить уборку, мойку и сушку АТС; визуально выявлять внешние повреждения АТС; использовать специальные приспособления для поиска неисправностей в узлах, агрегатах и механических системах АТС; выполнять шиномонтаж; производить проверки электронного оборудования АТС на предмет неисправностей; производить работы по наладке и вводу в эксплуатацию, калибровке и перепрограммированию мехатронных систем АТС; контролировать параметры и надежность электронного оборудования и мехатронных систем АТС.

Знания: устройство автомобилей разных марок, принципы работы основных систем (двигатель, трансмиссия, тормоза, электрика), правила чтения технических чертежей и схем, свойства материалов (металлов, электротехнических и изоляционных материалов), основы взаимозаменяемости деталей, технические условия на ремонт, правила эксплуатации инструмента и оборудования Умения: проводить диагностику (в том числе с использованием диагностического оборудования), выполнять слесарные операции (разборка, сборка, замена деталей), проводить регулировку и устранение неисправностей, работать с ручным, пневматическим и электрическим инструментом, оформлять приёмно-сдаточную документацию
