Управление бульдозером в различных условиях эксплуатации, включая движение по прямой и с поворотами, задним ходом, при изменении направления движения, в транспортном и рабочем режимах, по пересечённой местности с преодолением подъёмов, спусков, косогоров, ручьёв, мелких речек, железнодорожных переездов, мостов. Выполнение работ по расчистке местности от мелколесья и кустарника, срезке дернового поверхностного слоя грунта, корчевке пней, удалению камней. Планировка участков с преобладающе ровным рельефом, имеющим частичные неровности (мелкие канавы, ямы, воронки, окопы, мелкие бугорки). Определение рациональных режимов работы бульдозера и регулировка его рабочих параметров в зависимости от условий эксплуатации. Соблюдение последовательности технологических приёмов и управляющих действий при совершении рабочего цикла. Соблюдение правил разработки и перемещения грунтов различных групп при разной глубине разработки, послойной отсыпки насыпей, разработки выемок и планировки площадей по заданным профилям и отметкам. Отслеживание отсутствия посторонних предметов (камней, пней), наличия ограждений и предупредительных знаков в рабочей зоне. Выявление, устранение и предотвращение причин нарушений технологического процесса . Техническое обслуживание бульдозера: проверка креплений узлов и механизмов, мойка, уборка, очистка деталей, узлов, механизмов и кузовных элементов. Заправка и дозаправка силовых установок, элементов систем управления горюче-смазочными и специальными материалами. Применение слесарного и измерительного инструмента, специального оборудования и приборов для проверки состояния механизмов и систем управления бульдозера. Соблюдение требований охраны труда, производственной санитарии, электробезопасности, пожарной и экологической безопасности . Прекращение работы при возникновении нештатных ситуаций.

Образование и обучение. Требуется среднее общее образование и профессиональное обучение по программам профессиональной подготовки, переподготовки или повышения квалификации. Удостоверение. Необходимо наличие удостоверения, подтверждающего право управления бульдозером соответствующей категории. Слесарное дело. Машинисты, занятые управлением и обслуживанием строительных машин и механизмов, должны знать слесарное дело.
