Выполнение лабораторных исследований первой и второй категории сложности самостоятельно, а также отдельных этапов исследований третьей категории сложности под руководством медицинского технолога, биолога, бактериолога, медицинского микробиолога или врача клинической лабораторной диагностики. Проведение преаналитического этапа: взятие капиллярной крови; маркировка и регистрация проб биологического материала; подготовка проб к исследованию, транспортировке или хранению; транспортировка биоматериала к месту проведения исследований; хранение проб с соблюдением необходимых условий; отбраковка проб, не соответствующих установленным критериям. Контроль качества выполняемых исследований, обеспечение точности и надёжности анализов. Включает проведение внутрилабораторного контроля качества, построение контрольных карт и их оценку. Соблюдение санитарно-гигиенического режима, правил асептики и антисептики, условий стерилизации инструментов и материалов для предупреждения внутрибольничных инфекций. Организация и проведение мероприятий по обеззараживанию и обезвреживанию медицинских отходов класса Б и В, медицинских изделий, лабораторной посуды, инструментария, средств защиты. Первичная обработка и экстренная профилактика инфекций, связанных с оказанием медицинской помощи, при попадании биологических материалов на кожу, слизистые, при уколах, порезах. Ведение учётной и отчётной документации, в том числе в электронной форме. Учёт расходования реагентов и материалов, контроль сроков их хранения и списания при расходовании. Оказание доврачебной помощи при неотложных состояниях, включая состояния, представляющие угрозу жизни (например, клиническая смерть). Соблюдение правил охраны труда, техники безопасности, производственной санитарии и противопожарной защиты. Систематическое повышение квалификации.

Необходимо среднее профессиональное образование по специальности Лабораторная диагностика . Свидетельство об аккредитации специалиста по специальности Лабораторная диагностика Соблюдение врачебной тайны и принципов медицинской этики . Соблюдение программы государственных гарантий бесплатного оказания медицинской помощи и нормативных правовых актов в сфере охраны здоровья . Постоянное повышение квалификации не реже одного раза в пять лет. Также возможны дополнительные курсы по узким направлениям (молекулярно-генетические методы, иммуноферментный анализ, проточная цитометрия и др.).
