уход и наблюдение за больными на основе принципов медицинской деонтологии; приём и размещение пациентов в палатах, проверка качества их санитарной обработки; проверка передач больным с целью недопущения приёма противопоказанной пищи и напитков; участие в обходе врачей в закреплённых за ней палатах, доклад о состоянии больных, фиксация в журнале назначенного лечения и ухода; контроль выполнения больными назначений лечащего врача; санитарно-гигиеническое обслуживание физически ослабленных и тяжелобольных; выполнение назначений лечащего врача, организация обследования больных в диагностических кабинетах, у врачей-консультантов и в лаборатории; немедленное информирование лечащего врача (а в его отсутствие заведующего отделением или дежурного врача) о внезапном ухудшении состояния больного; изоляция больных в агональном состоянии, вызов врача для проведения необходимых реанимационных мероприятий; подготовка трупов умерших для направления в патологоанатомическое отделение; при приёме дежурства осмотр закреплённых за ней помещений, проверка состояния электроосвещения, наличия инвентаря, медицинского оборудования, инструментария, медикаментов; контроль выполнения больными и их родственниками режима посещений отделения; контроль санитарного содержания палат, личной гигиены больных, своевременного приёма гигиенических ванн, смены нательного и постельного белья; обеспечение строгого учёта и хранения лекарств группы А и Б в специальных шкафах; сбор и утилизация медицинских отходов; соблюдение санитарно-гигиенического режима в помещении, правил асептики и антисептики, условий стерилизации инструментов и материалов, предупреждение постинъекционных осложнений, гепатита, ВИЧ-инфекции.

реднее профессиональное образование по специальности Сестринское дело; или среднее профессиональное образование по специальностям Лечебное дело или Акушерское дело и дополнительное профессиональное образование программы профессиональной переподготовки по специальности Сестринское дело; сертификат специалиста или свидетельство об аккредитации специалиста по специальности Сестринское дело; прохождение обязательных предварительных (при поступлении на работу) и периодических медицинских осмотров, а также внеочередных; отсутствие ограничений на занятие профессиональной деятельностью.
