На художественного руководителя возлагаются следующие должностные обязанности: 1. Организует методическое руководство творческим коллективом структурного подразделения Учреждения. 2. Анализирует, планирует и организует работу творческих любительских коллективов. 3. Составляет расписание занятий совместно с руководителями коллективов, утверждает репертуар, план репетиционной и концертной деятельности; 4. Осуществляет контроль за ведением журнала работы творческих коллективов. 5. Непосредственно ведет журнал клубной работы. 6. Проводит мероприятия по повышению квалификации для руководителей кружков. 7. Организует участие коллективов художественной самодеятельности в смотрах, фестивалях международного, всероссийского, областного, окружного масштабов. 8. Руководит разработкой и осуществлением сценариев проведения крупных массовых художественных мероприятий (театрализованных праздников, народных гуляний, праздников песни и т.п.), а также участвует в выработке критериев и экспертной оценке положений и методических рекомендаций о крупных художественных акциях, комплексных и целевых программ развития творческих жанров. 9. Готовит предложения и рекомендация руководителям творческих коллективов по формированию репертуара. 10. Обеспечивает художественное качество репертуара, определяет степень готовности репертуара, принимает решения о его публичном исполнении. 11. Разрабатывает положения о конкурсах, фестивалях и других мероприятиях, проводимых в структурном подразделении Учреждения. 12. Принимает участие в работе жюри фестивалей, конкурсов и смотров. 13. Изучает потребности и привлекает к участию в кружках и мероприятиях население обслуживаемой зоны. 14. Организует работу по развитию творческих связей с коллективами предприятий, учреждений, организаций, предпринимателями с целью популяризации структурного подразделения Учреждения и привлечения внебюджетных средств на его развитие. 15. Создает необходимые условия для творческого роста художественного персонала. 16. Выполняет обязанности директора на время его отсутствия (командировка, отпуск, болезнь). 17. Один раз в пять лет, согласно утвержденного графика проходить обязательную аттестацию на соответствие занимаемой должности.

На должность художественного руководителя принимается лицо, принимается лицо, имеющее высшее профессиональное образование (культуры и искусства) без предъявления требований к стажу работы.
