Организация и координация редакционно-издательской деятельности Библиотеки; Подготовка к изданию методической, библиографической, справочной и других видов книжной продукции; Формирует сводный план редакционно-издательской деятельности Библиотеки и контролирует его выполнение Отвечает за редактирование текстов и других материалов, поступающих в отдел, устранение ошибок и недоработок в них, приведение этих материалов в соответствие с действующими стандартами: Редактирует материалы, предназначенные к изданию; Контролирует исправление замечаний, и выполнение требований, предъявляемых к рукописям, а также комплектность представляемых материалов; Проверяет по первоисточникам правильность написания приводимых цитат и цифровых данных, употребления и написания имен, терминов, единиц измерения, оформления справочного аппарата издания, соответствие приводимых символов обозначениям, установленным стандартами. Участвует в необходимом литературном редактировании рукописей. Оформляет титульные листы и выходные данные изданий, составляет аннотации Организует создание оригинал-макетов изданий Готовит отредактированные материалы к сдаче в полиграфическое производство Организует контроль качества издаваемых материалов Распределяет отпечатанные издания по структурным подразделениям и должностным лицам, контролирует использование готовых тиражей изданий Отвечает за размещение изданий на официальном сайте Библиотеки и в базе данных РИНЦ Участвует, совместно с автором/составителем и дизайнером, в решении вопросов, связанных с художественным оформлением редактируемых; Осуществляет подготовку в установленном порядке оперативных и статистических отчетов по издательской деятельности Библиотеки; Организует взаимодействие с партнерскими организациями по вопросам редакционно-издательского и полиграфического дела Оказывает консультативную помощь сотрудникам муниципальных библиотек в сфере своей компетенции. Участвует в разработке программ, планов, положений, инструктивно-методических и технологических документов, регламентирующих редакционно-издательскую деятельность отдела; Участвует в ведении договорной работы отдела в части подготовки договоров с авторами публикаций и трудовых соглашений с внешними рецензентами.
