Организует профессиональную подготовку личного состава отряда (пожарной части) Государственной противопожарной службы (далее - отряд (пожарная часть)). Планирует, организует, ведет учет проведения занятий по профессиональной подготовке личного состава отряда (пожарной части). Анализирует состояние профессиональной подготовки личного состава отряда (пожарной части), готовит документы по итогам обучения личного состава отряда (пожарной части). Разрабатывает рекомендации по совершенствованию профессионального обучения личного состава отряда (пожарной части). Готовит распорядительную документацию по вопросам организации профессиональной подготовки и оперативно-служебной деятельности отряда (пожарной части). Организует занятия по физической подготовке личного состава отряда (пожарной части). Контролирует выполнение разнарядок по специальному первоначальному обучению, повышению квалификации, переподготовке личного состава отряда (пожарной части) в учебных центрах, учебных пунктах МЧС России. Обеспечивает контроль за оформлением документов по присвоению (подтверждению) квалификационных званий личному составу отряда (пожарной части). Организует подготовку и проведение конкурсов профессионального мастерства личного состава отряда (пожарной части). Готовит отчеты, справки, касающиеся вопросов спортивной подготовки личного состава отряда (пожарной части). Организует работу по развитию пожарно-спасательного спорта в отряде (пожарной части). Ведет учет и контроль за составлением описаний крупных пожаров. Организует изучение, распространение и внедрение в отряде (пожарной части) положительного опыта и передовых форм профессиональной подготовки личного состава. Осуществляет контроль за выполнением мероприятий по охране труда и технике безопасности. Выезжает на пожары, аварии, стихийные бедствия, принимает участие в их ликвидации. Вносит в установленном порядке начальнику отряда (пожарной части) предложения о поощрении и наказании личного состава отряда (пожарной части).

Высшее техическое профессиональное образование со стажем работы не менее 3 лет.
