- составлять светомонтировку спектакля с использованием необходимых технических средств; - разрабатывать световые эффекты, необходимые технические средства и документацию для постановки новых спектаклей и возобновлению театральных постановок; Художник по свету в процессе создания художественного светового оформления спектакля обязан: - совместно с режиссером, режиссером-постановщиком, сценографом и другими постановщиками спектаклей проводить работу над созданием концепции художественно-светового оформления спектакля; - проводить работу по подбору светофильтров; - проводить работу по составлению подготовительной планировки на размещение светотехнического оборудования и светофильтров; - составлять подробное описание на использование каждого осветительного прибора по каждой картине, с необходимыми светофильтрами и учетом особенностей сценографии; - проводить работу по составлению светомонтировочных планировок на каждое рабочее место осветителей с перечнем оборудования и светофильтров; - проводить работу по составлению и записи световой партитуры; - совместно с режиссером-постановщиком, сценографом и другими постановщиками спектаклей проводить светомонтировочные репетиции;

Художник по свету должен знать: - технические параметры, сценическую технику и технологию; - параметры и технические характеристики осветительной аппаратуры; - основные приемы художественного освещения в соотношении со сценографическим решением; - новейшие достижения науки и техники в области сценического освещения; - электротехнику, оптику, электронику, вычислительную технику; - цветоведение; - механику; - правила эксплуатации, хранения и транспортировки осветительных приборов; - опыт работы организаций исполнительских искусств и специализированных организаций в области сценического света; - развитие сценографии; - основные виды осветительной аппаратуры и ее назначение; - приемы и способы освещения объектов; - системы осветительной аппаратуры; - характеристики и типы основного и вспомогательного светотехнического оборудования; - источники света дуговые с галогенным циклом; - электрические и кинематические схемы всех видов осветительной аппаратуры; - современные технологии управления цветом; - специальные программы освещения; - правила пользования персональным компьютером и световыми компьютерными пультами; - устройство и правила эксплуатации осветительного оборудования. В том числе принципы сборки и монтажа осветительной аппаратуры, принципы сборки и монтажа осветительного модуля; - основы технологии театрального производственно-постановочного процесса;
