Чётко выполнять все указания врачей и порученные ей медицинские манипуляции, разрешённые для выполнения среднему медицинскому персоналу. Немедленно сообщать фельдшеру, а в его отсутствие заведующему отделением или руководителю учреждения о внезапном ухудшении состояния проживающего клиента. Изолировать больных в тяжёлом состоянии, вызывать врача для осмотра и назначения лечения. Выполнять работу по медицинскому и гигиеническому воспитанию проживающих клиентов. Осуществлять забор материала от клиентов для лабораторных исследований. Вести плановое наблюдение, организацию ухода за лежачими и тяжело - больными, выполнять профилактику пролежней. Делать соответствующие отметки в листе назначений об их выполнении, с подписью. Медицинская сестра палатная должна осуществлять непосредственный уход за лежачими клиентами и работать без права сна во время дежурства. Оказывать и контролировать качество выполнения медико-социальных услуг: проведение медицинских осмотров и санитарной гигиенической обработки; создание условий для проживания, отвечающих санитарно-гигиеническим требованиям; обеспечение ухода за проживающими клиентами с учетом состояния здоровья (умывание, обтирание, кормит, дает питьё, промывает по мере надобности рот, глаза, уши, выполняет стрижку ногтей.); содействие в проведении реабилитационных мероприятий медицинского характера в соответствии с индивидуальными программами реабилитации инвалидов; содействие в организации прохождения диспансеризации; содействие в госпитализации нуждающихся в лечебно-профилактические учреждения; оказание неотложной, первичной неотложной медицинской помощи; помощь в выполнении процедур, связанных со здоровьем (приём лекарств, закапывание капель, применение мазей и др.); профилактика пролежней; контроль за участием в лечебно-трудовом процессе с учётом состояния здоровья и в соответствии с медицинским заключением; контролирует выход проживающих клиентов на прогулку, в соответствии с погодными условиями; контролирует качество помывки в душе, соблюдение санитарно-гигиенических норм, смену нательного и постельного белья. Принимать участие в совещаниях, семинарах, технических учёбах, независимо от сменности работы и т.д.
