Осуществляет контроль состояния охраны труда в учреждении. Проводит служебные проверки, осуществляет сбор необходимых документов и координирует работу начальников производственных служб по случаям производственного травматизма. Участвует в проверках технического состояния зданий, сооружений, оборудования на соответствие правилам и нормам по охране труда, состояния санитарно-технических устройств, санитарно-бытовых помещений, средств коллективной и индивидуальной защиты работающих. Проводит вводный инструктаж в учреждении. Оказывает руководителям структурных подразделений методическую помощь в разработке новых и пересмотре действующих инструкций по охране труда. Информирует работников о состоянии условий и охраны труда на рабочих местах, о полагающихся работникам компенсациях за тяжелую работу, работу с вредными и (или) опасными условиями труда и иными особыми условиями труда и средствах индивидуальной защиты. Оказывает помощь руководителям служб (отделов) в составлении списков профессий и должностей, в соответствии с которыми работники должны проходить обязательные предварительные и медицинские осмотры, а также списки профессий и должностей, в соответствии с которыми на основании действующего законодательства, работникам предоставляются компенсации за тяжелую работу и работу с вредными или опасными условиями труда. Участвует в разработке разделов коллективного договора в части определения норм обеспечения работников спецодеждой. Осуществляет подготовку документов для проведения обучения работников в области охраны труда согласно спискам подготовленным руководителями структурных подразделений и исходя из государственных нормативных требований охраны труда, а также требований охраны труда, установленных правилами и инструкциями по охране труда. Составляет и представляет отчеты по установленной форме. Осуществляет контроль за: соблюдением в подразделениях учреждения требований, правил, норм и инструкций по охране труда, проведением профилактической работы по предупреждению производственного травматизма, выполнением мероприятий, направленных на создание здоровых и безопасных условий труда; своевременным и качественным проведением инструктажа (первичного, повторного, внепланового, целевого) работников по вопросам охраны труда; расследованием и учётом несчастных случаев на производстве; соблюдением и применением работниками средств индивидуальной защиты; состоянием и исправностью средств индивидуальной и коллективной защиты; правильным расходованием средств, выделенных на выполнение мероприятий по охране труда.

Высшее профессиональное (техническое) образование и стаж работы в должности специалиста (инженера) по охране труда или других инженерно-технических должностях.
