-Осуществляет руководство деятельностью педиатрического отделения в соответствии с положением об отделении, его функциями и задачами (оказание специализированной стационарной медицинской помощи больным детям; -взаимодействие с амбулаторно-поликлиническим звеном в целях улучшения преемственности оказания медицинской помощи детскому населению; -освоение и внедрение в клиническую практику современных методов диагностики и лечения, направленных на улучшение качества и эффективности медицинской помощи; -консультативная помощь больным детям из других отделений ЛПУ; - Совершенствует формы и методы работы, планирование деятельности педиатрического отделения, расстановку кадров на рабочих местах и их использование в соответствии с квалификацией, формирование нормативной и методической базы, базы материально-технических средств лабораторной и инструментальной диагностики. -Координирует деятельность педиатрического отделения с другими структурными подразделениями медицинской организации, обеспечивает их взаимосвязь в работе.

-На должность заведующего педиатрическим отделением врача педиатра участкового детской городской поликлиники (далее заведующий педиатрическим отделением) назначается квалифицированный врач-педиатр, имеющий высшее медицинское образование, сертификат по специальности Педиатрия, опыт практической работы не менее 3-х лет, а также теоретические знания и навыки в пределах требований второй или первой квалификационной категории по аттестации врачей-педиатров и обладающий организаторскими способностями. -Заведующий педиатрическим отделением детской городской поликлиники назначается и увольняется приказом исполнительного директора, в соответствии с действующим законодательством, по представлению заместителя главного врача по детству КБ №100. -Заведующий педиатрическим отделением непосредственно подчиняется заместителю главного врача по детству КБ №100. -Заведующий педиатрическим отделением в своей работе руководствуется официальными документами по выполняемому разделу работы, приказами и распоряжениями вышестоящих руководителей, настоящей должностной инструкцией, правилами внутреннего трудового распорядка.
