Лаборант патологоанатомического отделения это специалист среднего звена (часто его называют лаборантом-гистологом или фельдшером-лаборантом), который обеспечивает техническую сторону работы при патологоанатомических исследованиях. 1.приём, регистрация и маркировка поступившего материала, проверка сопроводительной документации; 2.отбраковка образцов, не соответствующих требованиям (недостаточный объём, нарушение фиксации, отсутствие маркировки и т. п.) с оформлением акта; 3.вырезка фрагментов тканей под контролем врача, сортировка и маркировка кусочков; 4.фиксация материала в соответствующих растворах, контроль сроков и условий фиксации; 5.гистологическая обработка (обезвоживание, просветление, заливка в парафин), изготовление парафиновых блоков; 6.микротомия: нарезка срезов заданной толщины, подготовка предметных стёкол, нанесение срезов, сушка; 7.окраска срезов (гематоксилин‑эозин и специальные методы по назначению врача), контроль качества окраски; 8.заключение препаратов под покровное стекло, маркировка готовых микропрепаратов. 9.заключение препаратов под покровное стекло, маркировка готовых микропрепаратов. 10.подготовка фиксаторов, растворов, расходных материалов и инструментария для вскрытий; 11.помощь врачу при вырезке секционного материала, маркировка и сортировка образцов; 12.фиксация и обработка взятого материала, подготовка блоков и срезов для микроскопии; 13.оформление и регистрация проб для дополнительных исследований (бактериологических, вирусологических и др.), подготовка направлений; 14.туалет трупа после вскрытия, транспортировка в трупохранилище, контроль маркировки. 15.подготовка и контроль качества реактивов, красителей, фиксаторов; 16.обслуживание и текущая проверка микротомов и другого оборудования, заточка и правка микротомных ножей; 17соблюдение санитарно‑противоэпидемического режима: дезинфекция, стерилизация, утилизация отходов класса Б и В; 18.проведение экстренных профилактических мероприятий при аварийных ситуациях (разлив, порез, контакт с биоматериалом).
