Запуск "с нуля" отделения радионуклидной диагностики на базе ОФЭКТ/КТ производства General Electric. Организация отделения. Руководство работой персонала. Консультативная помощь врачам-радиологам и специалистам клинических отделений. Внедрение современных методик и принятие мер по оптимизации исследований. Систематическое повышение своей квалификации и квалификации персонала отделения. Анализ работы отделения и его специалистов. Контроль за ведением документации, составление отчётов о работе отделения по утверждённым формам и в установленные сроки. Оформление и представление заявок на приобретение новой аппаратуры, запасных частей, радиофармпрепаратов, дополнительных расходных материалов. Контроль за правильностью хранения, учёта, выдачи и использования радиофармпрепаратов, радиодиагностической аппаратуры, инструментария и другого оборудования. Организация дозиметрического контроля.

На должность заведующего отделением радионуклидной диагностики назначается специалист с высшим образованием по направлению подготовки лечебное дело по специальности радиология. Некоторые требования к квалификации заведующего отделением радионуклидной диагностики: Знание законодательства в области обеспечения радиационной безопасности, норм и правил ядерной безопасности. Умение применять методики измерений параметров ионизирующего излучения, производить расчёты доз облучения человека при внутреннем облучении. Знание особенностей технологических процессов при проведении ядерно- и радиационно опасных работ. Умение применять средства индивидуальной защиты в соответствии с правилами радиационной безопасности.
