Сбор и обработка данных. Получает от врачей и лабораторий анкеты пациентов, истории болезни, результаты анализов, лабораторные данные. Проверяет информацию на точность и полноту. Ведение электронных медицинских карт (ЭМК). Вносит сведения в систему, структурирует их, обеспечивает актуальность записей. Работа с классификаторами. Кодирует записи в картах например, переводит клинические диагнозы в коды по Международной классификации болезней (МКБ). Это нужно для статистики, страховых выплат и исследований. Управление клиническими базами данных и реестрами. Собирает и поддерживает в актуальном состоянии информацию для клинических исследований, отчётности перед фондами или органами здравоохранения. Обеспечение конфиденциальности. Строго соблюдает правила работы с персональными данными и врачебной тайной. Не разглашает сведения без законных оснований. Обработка запросов. Отвечает на запросы других отделов (юридического, статистического, страховых компаний) ищет, систематизирует и предоставляет нужные данные. Участие во внедрении и поддержке ИТ-решений. Помогает настраивать электронные системы, решает типовые технические проблемы, участвует в миграции данных между платформами. Подготовка статистической отчётности. На основе обработанных данных формирует отчёты для руководства, контролирующих органов или научных целей. Документирование процессов. Ведёт журналы, составляет инструкции, участвует в разработке внутренних регламентов по работе с медицинской информацией.
