3.1. Ведет самостоятельный участок по обслуживанию пользователей. 3.2. Составляет годовые и месячные планы работы, отчеты о работе, ведет учет деятельности филиала. 3.3. Предоставляет пользователям филиала информацию о составе библиотечных фондов через систему каталогов и другие формы библиотечного информирования. Оказывает консультативную помощь в поиске и выборе источников информации. 3.4. Подбирает необходимую литературу, оперативно выполняет заявки читателей. Организует выдачу во временное пользование любого документа из библиотечных фондов. 3.5. Предоставляет пользователям информацию о возможностях удовлетворения запроса с помощью других библиотек. Обеспечивает функционирование межбиблиотечного абонемента. 3.6. Ведет учет отказов на документы, заказывает недостающую литературу. Получает новые книги из отдела комплектования, организует учет фонда. 3.7. Отбирает ветхую и устаревшую литературу из фонда, составляет акты на ее списание. Занимается ремонтом (реставрацией) документов и книг. 3.8. Организует любительские объединения и клубы по интересам. 3.9. Организует вечера, встречи, конференции, лекции, фестивали, конкурсы и иные культурные акции. 3.10. Проводит рекламную и информационную работу: - обзоры новых поступлений, - подготовка материала для рекламных стендов, - Дни информации, Дни специалиста, - выставки просмотры, - индивидуальное информирование. 3.11. Изучает передовой опыт организации работы библиотек, применяет его в практической работе. 3.12. Принимает участие в проведении санитарных дней, ремонте здания, благоустройстве территории.
