Сбор и анализ анамнеза и родословной. Врач выясняет историю заболеваний в семье, составляет и изучает родословную, чтобы выявить наследственные закономерности и риски. Генетическое консультирование. Специалист разъясняет пациентам риски наследственных заболеваний, особенности передачи мутаций, варианты профилактики и возможности современных методов диагностики в том числе при планировании беременности или при уже выявленной патологии. Назначение генетических исследований. Врач подбирает оптимальный вид тестирования (кариотипирование, ПЦР, секвенирование, НИПТ и др.) с учётом клинической картины и семейного анамнеза. Интерпретация результатов анализов. Специалист оценивает выявленные мутации или хромосомные аномалии, определяет их клиническую значимость, опираясь на базы данных и научные публикации. Постановка диагноза и оценка рисков. На основе данных обследования врач подтверждает или исключает генетическое заболевание, рассчитывает вероятность его проявления или передачи потомству. Разработка рекомендаций и плана ведения пациента. Включает советы по профилактике, образу жизни, диете, необходимости дополнительных обследований, а также направление к профильным специалистам. Взаимодействие с другими врачами. Генетик консультирует коллег (акушеров‑гинекологов, педиатров, онкологов и др.) по вопросам наследственных рисков и особенностей диагностики. Ведение документации. Оформление заключений, рекомендаций, протоколов консультаций и результатов исследований в соответствии с медицинскими стандартами.
