Монтажник выполняет сборку и установку труб, фитингов, фланцев, клапанов и других деталей в соответствии с проектными требованиями. Установка оборудования. Монтажник устанавливает и подключает различное технологическое оборудование, такое как насосы, теплообменники, резервуары и другие устройства. Тестирование системы. Специалист проводит испытания и проверки, чтобы гарантировать правильную работу трубопроводной системы и выявить возможные дефекты или утечки. Соблюдение стандартов безопасности. Монтажник работает в соответствии с нормами и стандартами безопасности, соблюдая требования по предотвращению аварий и обеспечению безопасных условий труда. Работа в команде. Специалист взаимодействует с другими членами строительных бригад, инженерами и заказчиками для эффективного выполнения проекта. Ремонт и обслуживание. Монтажник осуществляет техническое обслуживание и ремонт трубопроводных систем при необходимости.

Образование и обучение: общее среднее образование и профессиональное обучение по программам подготовки рабочих, должностям служащих, программам переподготовки. Опыт практической работы: не менее одного года в области монтажа технологических трубопроводов. Особые условия допуска к работе: обучение мерам пожарной безопасности, безопасным методам и приёмам выполнения работ на высоте, инструктаж по охране труда, обязательные предварительные и периодические медицинские осмотры. Необходимые умения: применять методы строповки, указанные в правилах строповки и перемещения грузов, а также в документации, отражающей порядок производства работ; Необходимые знания: виды технологических трубопроводов, их деталей и арматуры, сортамент и маркировка материалов, применяемых при монтаже технологических трубопроводов, средства крепления технологических трубопроводов и другие. Необходимые навыки: применение средств индивидуальной защиты, пожаротушения и первой помощи пострадавшим, соблюдение требований охраны труда, пожарной и экологической безопасности при выполнении работ по монтажу технологических трубопроводов.
