Обеспечивать сбор, обработку и анализ поступившей информации, необходимой для функционирования информационно-аналитических систем, используемых в Учреждении. Оперативно вносить и корректировать информационные, информационно-справочные, информационно-аналитические материалы и прогнозную информацию, используемую в информационно-аналитических и справочных системах Учреждения. Предоставлять актуальную информацию и консультировать заявителя (абонента, клиента) по его запросу. Принимать, фиксировать и обрабатывать от населения и организаций (учреждений), либо из других источников вызовы (обращения). Соблюдать правила общения с заявителем (абонентом, клиентом) по телефону, использовать речевые модули (скрипты, алгоритмы действий). Соблюдать меры по обеспечению конфиденциальности информации, ставшей известной оператору ситуационного центра в ходе информационного обмена (за исключением общедоступной). Обеспечивать сбор и обобщение данных о поступивших вызовах (обращениях).

Оператор должен обладать базовыми умениями: мыслить системно (стратегически); планировать, рационально использовать служебное время и достигать результата; владеть оргтехникой и средствами коммуникации, средствами связи, работать с периферийными устройствами компьютера, с информационно-телекоммуникационными сетями, в том числе сетью Интернет, работать в операционной системе, управлять электронной почтой, работать в текстовом редакторе, с электронными таблицами, презентациями; работать с большим массивом информационных данных; выявлять потребность заявителей (абонентов, клиентов) в получении информации с помощью разных типов вопросов; выбирать оптимальный алгоритм (инструкцию, скрипт) обслуживания заявителей (абонентов, клиентов); устанавливать коммуникацию с заявителями (абонентами, клиентами) с целью предоставления актуальной информации; использовать техники активного слушания и ведения диалога; резюмировать полученную от заявителей (абонентов, клиентов) информацию; вносить информацию в программы и базы данных Учреждения; взаимодействовать с работниками Учреждения для решения рабочих задач; работать со служебной информацией; работать со статистическими и отчетными данными; оперативно реализовывать решения и поручения начальника службы, старшего оператора.
