Организует и контролирует работу водителей автомобилей на линии. Осуществляет контроль за работой линейных диспетчерских пунктов, регулирующих движение автотранспорта на маршрутах. Инструктирует водителей автомобилей об условиях и особенностях перевозок на маршрутах, уделяя при этом особое внимание состоянию дорог, особенностям движения на отдельных участках в конкретных метеорологических условиях. Поддерживает постоянную связь с клиентурой, погрузочно-разгрузочными и линейными диспетчерскими пунктами, автовокзалами, автостанциями для обеспечения оперативного руководства перевозками. Принимает меры по ликвидации сверхнормативных простоев автомобилей. Заполняет, выдает и принимает путевые листы и другие документы, отражающие выполненную работу, проверяет правильность их оформления. Составляет оперативные сводки о работе и происшествиях за смену. Осуществляет постоянный контроль за выполнением графика движения автотранспорта предприятия. Организует специальные маршруты или отдельные рейсы. Принимает меры по оперативному устранению сбоев транспортных процессов. Координирует работу автотранспорта предприятия. Обеспечивает контроль и учет работы автотранспорта предприятия. Принимает меры по загрузке порожних автомобилей в попутном направлении. Контролирует состояние подъездных путей, а также соблюдение водителями автомобилей транспортной дисциплины. Организует в необходимых случаях оказание своевременной технической помощи подвижному составу на линии. Квалифицированно и своевременно исполняет приказы, распоряжения и поручения руководства предприятия, а также нормативно-правовые акты по своей профессиональной деятельности.
