Слесарная обработка деталей и узлов по 6 - 7 квалитетам (1 - 2 классам точности) с подгонкой и доводкой, изготовление деталей. Разметка по чертежам и эскизам, сложные работы по сборке, регулированию, пригонке и испытанию с использованием спецприспособлений, средств измерений и подъемно-транспортных механизмов. Установка коверов, гидрантов и водоразборных колонок, сифонов и гидравлических затворов, испытание и наладка трубопроводов и арматуры. Ремонт такелажа, спецприспособлений по ремонту, наладка, опробование в работе. Арматура всех систем - разборка, ремонт, сборка и установка. Детали фасонные из труб диаметром 600 - 900 мм - изготовление и монтаж на трубопроводах. Компенсаторы диаметром 600 - 900 мм - монтаж, нанесение теплоизоляции, установка и центровка, гидравлическое испытание. Насосы центробежные - демонтаж, ревизия и ремонт, монтаж. Насосы сетевые и опрессовочные - статическая и динамическая балансировка ротора. Трубы диаметром свыше 600 до 900 мм - выявление дефектов, замена деталей, установка.

Должен знать технические условия на разборку, ремонт, сборку, испытание, регулировку оборудования, на изготовление сложных узлов оборудования тепловых сетей; классификацию, технические характеристики основного и вспомогательного оборудования: трубопроводов, камер, колодцев, коллекторов, насосов, средств измерений, грузоподъемных машин и механизмов; основные требования к оборудованию тепловых сетей, правила его эксплуатации, испытания; причины, вызывающие повреждение трубопроводов и арматуры, способы их предупреждения и устранения; приемы работ и последовательность операций по разборке, ремонту и сборке трубопроводов больших диаметров; приемы особо сложных такелажных работ; требования, предъявляемые к трубопроводам и арматуре, работающим под давлением; инструкции по ремонту, замене, реконструкции оборудования
