Производит вывозку древесины с погрузочных пунктов лесосек, складов, лесозаготовительных участков, промежуточных складов в цеха переработки древесины и иные пункты в соответствии с доведенным заданием, с соблюдением установленных норм расхода эксплуатационных и горюче-смазочных материалов. Ежедневно заполняет путевые листы, отмечая маршруты следования, пройденный километраж, расход топлива и другую необходимую информацию. Подписывает путевой лист у механика о технически исправном состоянии автомобиля. Обеспечивает подачу транспортного средства для загрузки и разгрузки грузов в установленные время и сроки в соответствии с сопроводительными документами и с соблюдением правил подачи автомобилей под погрузку и разгрузку Производит загрузку и выгрузку груза, а также прием и сдачу груза, с оформлением приемо-сдаточной документации. Обеспечивает необходимый режим хранения и сохранность груза при транспортировке. Следит за техническим состоянием автомобиля, проводит проверку технического состояния автомобиля перед выездом на линию, выполняет самостоятельно необходимые работы по обеспечению его безопасной эксплуатации (согласно инструкции по эксплуатации), своевременно проходит технический осмотр. Содержит двигатель, кузов и салон автомобиля в чистоте, защищает их предназначенными для этого соответствующими средствами ухода за теми или иными поверхностями.
