организовывать расстановку медицинских сестёр и санитарок по постам, согласно утверждённым графикам, своевременное замещение лиц, не вышедших на работу; организовывать выписку медикаментов, правильность учёта и хранения сильнодействующих и ядовитых веществ согласно правилам, утверждённым администрацией больницы и приказам соответствующих министерств; обеспечивать сохранность и исправность вверенного медицинского инструмента, аппаратуры и предметов ухода, мягкого и твёрдого инвентаря, систематическое их пополнение по утверждённому администрацией больницы плану; обеспечивать достаточный запас медикаментов, перевязочного материала и часто используемых предметов для бесперебойной работы отделения стационара (путём своевременной подачи заявок в установленном администрацией больницы порядке); контролировать методом постоянного наблюдения, обходов соблюдение персоналом, больными и посетителями правил внутреннего распорядка больницы, санитарно-эпидемического режима в отделении; вести учёт поступления и выписки больных в утверждённой форме, своевременно передавать в приёмное отделение сведения о движении больных и наличии свободных коек, подготавливать соответствующую документацию к выписке больного, при необходимости обеспечивать его транспортом в установленном порядке; составлять порционные листы на питание больных согласно утверждённому администрацией больницы плану, регулярно наблюдать за раздачей пищи; контролировать путём наблюдения и обходов своевременное выполнение медицинскими сёстрами назначений врача; под руководством заведующего отделением стационара разрабатывать план повышения квалификации средних и младших медицинских работников отделения, проведение сестринских конференций по утверждённому плану; в установленной форме учитывать листки временной нетрудоспособности, ведёт другую предусмотренную нормативами документацию; обучать одну из палатных медсестёр организации работы в отделении, чтобы та могла заменить её во время отсутствия
