The posting

Несёт вахту в машинном отделении, согласно судового расписания. Обслуживает главную энергетическую установку и вспомогательные механизмы, вспомогательные котлы и технические средства, которые обеспечивают их работу, управляет ими. Обслуживает судовые системы. Обслуживает электрооборудование машинного отделения. Принимает участие в техническом обслуживании и ремонте всех судовых технических средств систем и механизмов. Производит слесарно-монтажные работы по ремонту судовых двигателей внутреннего сгорания, вспомогательных механизмов и котлов, судовых устройств и систем. Своевременно проводит техническое обслуживание механизмов, закреплённых за ним расписанием по заведованию. Читает и понимает значение приборов своего заведования. Обеспечивает бесперебойную работу механизмов на заданных режимах и принимает меры по устранению недостатков в их работе. Поддерживает чистоту и порядок в машинном отделении. Принимает меры, согласно Инструкции по тревогам, в случае угрозы аварии, поступления забортной воды, пожара или другой опасности для жизни людей в машинном отделении. Проводит подготовку систем пожаротушения к действию. Привлекаться по указанию механика к судовым работам, не входящим в круг его прямых обязанностей, после получения инструктажа по правилам безопасности труда на рабочем месте. Соблюдает требования техники безопасности, пожарной безопасности и производственной санитарии на судах.
