1. Техническое руководство по ведению открытых горных работ, взрывных работ, руководство по обеспечению геологоразведочных работ, эксплуатационной разведке при разработке и эксплуатации Уватского месторождения кварцитов.2. Контроль за ведением проектных и строительных работ в соответствии с утверждёнными планами, проектами и технологическими инструкциями;3. Обеспечение руководства разработкой перспективных планов развития Уватского месторождения кварцитов, реконструкции и модернизации, мероприятий по предотвращению вредного воздействия производства на окружающую среду, бережному использованию природных ресурсов, создание наиболее благоприятных и безопасных условий труда, повышение культуры производства.4. Осуществление контроля за соблюдением проектной, конструкторской и технологической дисциплины, правил и норм по охране труда, промышленной безопасности, производственной санитарии и пожарной безопасности, требований природоохранных, санитарных органов, а также органов, осуществляющих технический надзор.5. Организация осуществления производственного контроля за выполнением и соблюдением требований Правил дорожного движения подчинённым персоналом.6. Организация осуществления производственного контроля за выполнением и соблюдением требовании охраны труда и промышленной безопасности подчинённым персоналом, элементов системы стандартов безопасности труда, промышленной, пожарной, экологической безопасности и природоохранных мероприятий.7. Обеспечение выполнения плановых заданий, эффективного использования производственных мощностей в соответствии с техническими условиями и технологическими процессами.8. Совместно с руководителем ОП №УРУ составление годовых и квартальных планов развития горных работ в соответствии с проектными и нормативными документами.9. Контроль за выполнением плана развития горных работ по объёмам и направлению развития.10. Разработка технологической документации (технологических инструкций, инструкций по охране труда, должностных (рабочих) инструкций, проектов организации работ, технологических карт, паспортов, регламентов).11. Ведение учета количества и качества добываемых кварцитов при формировании технологической пробы и в процессе промышленной добычи.12. Осуществлять руководство производственной деятельностью на объектах горных работ, выдачу наряда рабочим на смену.13. Своевременное принятие мер по устранению возникших организационно-технических неполадок и простоев в карьере.14. Осмотр технического состояния технологического оборудования, с последующей записью выявленных нарушений в бортовом журнале.15. Обеспечение сохранности материалов, оборудования, механизмов, комплектующих изделий.16. Организация работ по экскавации, дроблению, вывозке кварцита и бурения горной массы.17. Ведение и планирование всех горных работ на месте производства их в карьере.

Высшее или среднее горнотехническое образование в соответствии с Положением о порядке предоставления права руководства горными и взрывными работами в организациях и на объектах, подконтрольных Госгортехнадзору России.
