Руководство работой кабинета организация деятельности подразделения, распределение задач, контроль исполнения, обеспечение выполнения плановых показателей. Сбор и обработка медико‑статистической информации систематизация данных о деятельности медорганизации и состоянии здоровья населения, проверка достоверности сведений. Расчёт и анализ статистических показателей вычисление ключевых метрик (заболеваемость, летальность, нагрузка на персонал и др.), выявление тенденций, подготовка аналитических выводов. Формирование отчётности подготовка регулярных (ежемесячных, квартальных, годовых) и внеплановых отчётов для руководства и вышестоящих органов, заполнение форм федерального и ведомственного статистического наблюдения. Кодирование медицинской информации применение МКБ (Международной классификации болезней) для кодирования диагнозов в учётных документах. Методическая работа консультирование сотрудников медорганизации по вопросам заполнения статистической и учётной документации, проведение инструктажей и обучающих мероприятий. Контроль качества документации проверка правильности и полноты заполнения медицинских и статистических форм, выявление и устранение ошибок. Работа с информационными системами ввод данных в электронные регистры и базы, использование специализированного ПО для статистического анализа, обеспечение защиты персональных данных. Планирование работы кабинета составление текущих и перспективных планов, оценка эффективности деятельности подразделения. Взаимодействие с другими подразделениями и внешними организациями координация со службами медорганизации, обмен данными со страховыми компаниями, территориальными фондами ОМС, органами статистики и управления здравоохранением
