Медицинская сестра кабинета медицинской профилактики подчиняется заведующему поликлиники, заведующему кабинетом профилактики, старшей медицинской сестре. Организовывает лекции, семинары, школы для различных групп населения по вопросам охраны, сохранения и укрепления здоровья. Участвует в организации и проведении диспансеризации, профилактических медицинских осмотров. Осуществляет учет и контроль данных по диспансеризации, профилактических медицинских осмотров. Способствует раннему выявлению у лиц, имеющих фактор риска развития не инфекционных заболеваний. Оформлять и передавать врачам-специалистам медицинскую документацию на пациентов с заболеваниями и лиц с повышенным риском не инфекционных заболеваний для проведения дополнительного медицинского обследования, диспансерного наблюдения и проведения лечебно-оздоровительных мероприятий. Организует обучение персонала учреждения основам укрепления и сохранения здоровья населения. Организует санитарно-гигиеническое воспитание и пропаганду здорового образа жизни (борьба с курением, алкоголизмом, избыточным питанием, гиподинамией и др.). Осуществляет сбор аналитических данных, тестирование и анкетирование по вопросам удовлетворенности населения оказанием медицинской помощи, медицинской профилактики, неинфекционных заболеваний, с последующей выдачей рекомендаций по формированию здорового образа жизни. Ведет необходимую медицинскую документацию, в установленные сроки отчитывается по утвержденным формам отчета.
