Осуществляет деятельность в сфере государственной национальной политики на территории округа с непременным учетом особенностей жизнедеятельности коренных малочисленных народов Севера, Сибири и Дальнего Востока, проживающих на территории округа. Для этого: - разрабатывает и осуществляет меры, направленные на реализацию федеральных и краевых программ, относящихся к сфере деятельности главного специалиста; - разрабатывает муниципальные программы, направленные на решение вопросов, относящихся к сфере деятельности главного специалиста; - готовит аналитические справки и отчеты о реализации краевых и муниципальных программ, относящихся к сфере деятельности главного специалиста; - разрабатывает проекты муниципальных правовых актов, относящихся к сфере его деятельности; - рассматривает обращения граждан и организаций независимо от форм собственности, относящиеся к сфере деятельности главного специалиста, готовит на них ответы. Осуществляет анализ тенденций в межнациональных отношениях и организацию практической работы по урегулированию возникающих межнациональных проблем на территории округа. Содействует созданию условий для реализации мер, направленных на укрепление межнационального и межконфессионального согласия, сохранение и развитие языков и культуры народов Российской Федерации, проживающих на территории округа, социальную и культурную адаптацию мигрантов, профилактику межнациональных (межэтнических) конфликтов. Разрабатывает совместно со структурными подразделениями администрации округа предложения и программы по комплексному развитию экономики и социальной сферы в местах проживания и работы малочисленных народов Севера, Сибири и Дальнего Востока.

Без предъявления требований к стажу муниципальной службы или стажу работы по специальности, направлению подготовки, наличие навыков владения компьютерной и оргтехникой, и необходимым программным обеспечением, а также наличие навыков работы с документами (составление, оформление, анализ, ведение, хранение и т.д.)
