Составляет график и табель работы среднего и младшего персонала, других подчиненных и представляет его на утверждение заведующему отделением. Обеспечивает своевременное замещение медицинских сестер и санитарок, не вышедших на работу. Контролирует соблюдение медицинской формы одежды и соблюдение правил внутреннего распорядка больными и подчиненными сотрудниками. Создает условия и контролирует проведение противоэпидемических мероприятий, проводит работы по организации и проведению карантинных мероприятий. Своевременно подаёт информацию об отсутствующих на работе и о выходе персонала на работу. Проводит систематический инструктаж медицинских сестер, младшего медицинского персонала и других подчиненных сотрудников. Регулярно проверяет надлежащее выполнение медицинскими сестрами назначений врача, а также правильное содержание постелей и прикроватных столиков, гигиенический уход за больными и санитарное состояние палат и других помещений медицинского учреждения. Осуществляет контроль за точным выполнением персоналом и посетителями установленных правил распорядка посещения больных. Организует и проводит мероприятия по контролю соблюдения правил внутреннего трудового распорядка, морально-этических норм профессионального общения средним медицинским персоналом и младшим медицинским персоналом, и другим персоналом отделения. Ежедневно контролирует передачу дежурств средним медицинским персоналом и младшим медицинским персоналом. Организует и контролирует работу по обеспечению лечебного питания пациентов отделения. Получает, ведёт учёт и хранение медицинских изделий, лекарственных препаратов и дезинфицирующих средств. Обеспечивает своевременное получение лекарственных препаратов и изделий медицинского назначения.

имеет среднее профессиональное образование по специальности "Лечебное дело", "Акушерское дело" или "Сестринское дело" и дополнительное профессиональное образование - программа повышения квалификации по специальности "Организация сестринского дела" или Высшее образование - бакалавриат по направлению подготовки "Сестринское дело" и дополнительное профессиональное образование - программа повышения квалификации "Организация сестринского дела", стаж не менее 5 лет по направлению профессиональной деятельности, сертификат специалиста или свидетельство об аккредитации специалиста по "Лечебное дело", "Акушерское дело" или "Сестринское дело"; документ о повышении квалификации по специальности "Организация сестринского дела"; прохождение обязательных предварительных (при поступлении на работу) и периодических медицинских осмотров (обследований), а также внеочередных медицинских осмотров (обследований); отсутствие ограничений на занятие профессиональной деятельностью
