Voor een sterk groeiende organisatie met een no-nonsense en ondernemende cultuur zoeken we een General Ledger Accountant die ownership neemt over de boekhouding van één of meerdere entiteiten. In deze functie krijg je de kans om je accountingkennis verder uit te bouwen, nauw samen te werken met operationele teams en mee te denken over optimalisaties binnen een dynamische omgeving.

Jobomschrijving

Als General Ledger Accountant ben je verantwoordelijk voor een correcte, tijdige en volledige boekhoudkundige verwerking. Daarnaast bouw je een goed inzicht op in de operationele processen zodat je financiële resultaten kunt interpreteren, analyseren en ondersteunen.

Jouw verantwoordelijkheden

  • Verantwoordelijk voor maand-, kwartaal- en jaarafsluitingen
  • Opmaken en boeken van provisies, accruals en afschrijvingen
  • Uitvoeren van balansreconciliaties en bewaken van de kwaliteit van de financiële cijfers
  • Voorbereiden van auditdossiers en fungeren als aanspreekpunt voor externe auditors
  • Toezien op de naleving van accountingrichtlijnen en interne procedures
  • Ondersteunen van correcte btw-verwerking en fiscale verplichtingen
  • Mee opvolgen van intracommunautaire transacties en complexe financiële stromen
  • Signaleren van mogelijke fiscale risico's en verbeteropportuniteiten
  • Actief bijdragen aan procesverbeteringen, automatisering en optimalisatieprojecten
  • Intensief samenwerken met operationele afdelingen en financiële inzichten vertalen naar de business
  • Fungeren als een betrouwbare sparringpartner voor collega's bij financiële vragen

Must haves

  • Bachelor of master binnen een economische, financiële of boekhoudkundige richting
  • Een eerste relevante ervaring binnen A-Z accounting of General Ledger
  • Goede kennis van BE GAAP
  • Affiniteit met fiscaliteit, met een sterke basiskennis van btw
  • Sterk analytisch inzicht en oog voor detail
  • Hands-on mentaliteit en een proactieve aanpak
  • Vlotte communicatieve vaardigheden en een sterke teamspirit
  • Interesse om operationele processen te begrijpen en je te verdiepen in de business

Nice to haves

  • Ervaring met audits of afsluitingsprocessen
  • Kennis van vennootschapsbelasting
  • Ervaring binnen een logistieke, industriële of operationele omgeving
  • Interesse in automatisering en procesoptimalisatie
  • Ervaring met ERP-systemen en rapporteringstools
