The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Executive Pipe-Flo based in the United States.

We are seeking a technically minded, results-driven Account Executive to grow sales of specialized engineering software across an assigned U.S. territory. In this role, you will help engineering and industrial customers optimize fluid system design, reduce energy costs, and improve operational efficiency through advanced hydraulic modeling solutions. You will own the full sales cycle, from proactive prospecting and lead qualification to product demonstrations, negotiations, and closing deals. Combining technical knowledge with consultative selling, you will translate complex engineering capabilities into clear business value for mid-market and enterprise customers. You will collaborate closely with Marketing to convert inbound interest while building a strong pipeline through targeted outbound outreach. By leveraging AI-powered tools and automation, you will continuously improve sales productivity, strengthen customer engagement, and drive recurring revenue growth.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage the complete sales cycle across an assigned U.S. territory, from prospecting and qualification through product demonstrations, negotiation, and closing.
  • Understand and communicate how hydraulic modeling software addresses engineering challenges related to fluid systems, piping design, and energy optimization.
  • Deliver compelling, technically credible product demonstrations and presentations through virtual meetings and in-person engagements.
  • Clearly articulate the product's value proposition, technical differentiators, and business benefits while effectively addressing customer objections.
  • Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through cold calling, networking, outbound campaigns, and other proactive prospecting activities.
  • Partner with Marketing to qualify inbound leads, develop sales opportunities, and improve conversion rates.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales quotas for newly signed business, Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), and Professional Services bookings.
  • Manage complex sales opportunities involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and technical and commercial decision-making.
  • Use AI-powered tools and automation to improve outreach, personalize messaging, streamline repeatable tasks, and enhance sales execution.
  • Identify new opportunities to apply emerging technologies and automation to improve output quality, productivity, and business outcomes.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Demonstrated understanding of fluid dynamics, piping systems, or industrial energy optimization principles.
  • Experience selling complex SaaS products or engineering software solutions to mid-market and enterprise customers.
  • Proven ability to close deals involving multiple stakeholders, complex requirements, and competing business priorities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and connect product capabilities to customer outcomes.
  • Ability to manage the full sales cycle, from outbound prospecting and lead qualification to negotiation and closing.
  • Comfort working in a high-activity sales environment with clear revenue targets and accountability for results.
  • Willingness and ability to use AI and automation tools thoughtfully to improve sales workflows and performance.
  • At least 3 years of experience in technical or engineering-focused B2B sales, ideally in industrial, fluid systems, or process engineering markets.
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulic modeling, piping design, or fluid system simulation software.
  • Demonstrated success in outbound prospecting, pipeline generation, and new business development.
  • Experience presenting technical software solutions to engineering teams and other business stakeholders.
  • On-target earnings of $135,000–$170,000 per year.
  • Uncapped commission potential.
  • Paid time off (PTO), sick leave, and parental leave for eligible full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Health Savings Account (HSA).
  • Life insurance.
  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP).
  • Standard U.S. working hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
  • Opportunity to work with AI-forward technology and specialized engineering software serving industrial and manufacturing customers.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
