This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Analista de Governança e Transparência ESG III - Temporária based in Brazil.
This role focuses on strengthening ESG governance, transparency, and performance across a complex business environment. You will lead sustainability assessment processes, identify performance gaps, and coordinate actions to improve results across relevant global ESG frameworks. The position also involves advancing financial methodologies to measure the return generated by socio-environmental initiatives. You will contribute to strategic ESG communication, connecting governance outcomes with long-term business objectives. Strong stakeholder engagement will be essential to mobilize teams, consolidate information, and implement improvement plans. The role offers an opportunity to work at the intersection of sustainability, finance, governance, data, and corporate strategy.
Accountabilities:
- Lead annual sustainability assessment processes, including performance analysis, gap mapping, action planning, and closure of identified gaps across relevant ESG evaluations.
- Manage ESG indices and assessments, coordinating the collection, validation, consolidation, and submission of information required for external sustainability evaluations.
- Support the evolution of internal ESG ROI methodologies, strengthening the measurement of financial returns and economic value generated by socio-environmental initiatives.
- Contribute to the financial valuation of ESG projects by connecting environmental and social impacts with business performance and investment-return perspectives.
- Support the development and execution of ESG communication plans, translating governance initiatives, results, and data into clear narratives connected to long-term strategic objectives.
- Engage and coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders to collect information, implement action plans, and adopt financial and environmental methodologies across the organization.
- Support corporate governance and socio-environmental reporting processes, ensuring relevant information is structured, consistent, and aligned with transparency requirements.
- Monitor ESG data, methodologies, and market developments to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in governance, performance, and transparency practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Management, Sustainability, or a related field.
- Solid experience with ESG indices and frameworks, particularly the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA/DJSI), including submissions, gap analysis, and performance management.
- Knowledge of other sustainability frameworks such as GRI, SASB, TCFD/ISSB, and CSRD is a plus.
- Experience with financial modeling, economic valuation of socio-environmental impacts, and ROI assessment applied to ESG initiatives.
- Professional experience supporting corporate governance processes and socio-environmental reporting and transparency.
- Experience developing or executing corporate communication plans and translating ESG data into strategic storytelling connected to long-term business objectives.
- Familiarity with ESG data management software, platforms, and analytical tools.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to translate complex ESG and financial information into actionable insights.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate initiatives across different areas.
