Associate Producer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Associate Producer based in United States.

This role brings live basketball storylines to life through fast-paced, engaging video content. You will produce daily game highlights from initial concept through final delivery. The position combines editorial judgment, video editing, sports knowledge, and creative storytelling. You will work with game footage, b-roll, telestration, graphics, and animation to strengthen the viewer experience. The role requires translating evolving game narratives into compelling visual packages under tight deadlines. You’ll contribute ideas tied to current games, players, teams, and broader league storylines. Accountabilities

• Ideate, develop, and produce daily game highlight packages from initial concept through final delivery.
• Interpret game developments and storylines to determine the strongest visual narrative for each assigned package.
• Assemble compelling highlights using game footage, shot sheets, scripts, b-roll, graphics, animations, and other production elements.
• Produce telestration and specialty visual elements when required to enhance storytelling and explain key moments.
• Generate daily content ideas based on current games, league developments, player performances, and relevant storylines.
• Collaborate with supervisors and production teams to execute assigned content efficiently and to the required editorial standards.
• Use non-linear editing workflows to create polished, broadcast-ready sports content.
• Work quickly and accurately in a deadline-driven production environment, particularly around live and recently completed games.
• Communicate efficiently with production colleagues and respond promptly to changing editorial priorities.
• Contribute to studio and sports programming by identifying opportunities to make highlights more engaging, informative, and visually compelling.
• At least 3 years of experience in studio production, sports news, sports programming, or a related production environment.
• Strong understanding of sports storytelling and the ability to transform game developments into compelling highlight packages.
• Proficiency with Adobe non-linear editing systems and familiarity with professional sports production workflows.
• Deep knowledge of professional basketball, including current and historical storylines, players, teams, and major developments.
• Ability to make strong editorial decisions while working under pressure and meeting tight production deadlines.
• Strong visual storytelling, video editing, and content-production skills.
• Ability to communicate quickly, clearly, and efficiently in a fast-paced production setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple production requirements while maintaining quality.
• Willingness and availability to work evenings as required by game and production schedules.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with producers, editors, and other production professionals.
• Familiarity with telestration, graphics, animation, and other visual storytelling techniques is valuable.
• Hourly compensation of $31.65.
