This is a strategic healthcare leadership role focused on improving clinical quality, affordability, provider performance, and member outcomes. You will identify high-impact opportunities, evaluate performance gaps, and shape enterprise clinical strategies that can drive measurable results. The role combines healthcare strategy, analytics, performance measurement, and program development in a highly collaborative environment. You will translate complex clinical and business data into compelling recommendations, business cases, and investment priorities. Working across clinical, analytics, operations, network, and business teams, you will help move initiatives from strategy through implementation and sustained impact. You will also influence how clinical performance is measured and help establish scalable approaches to quality and value improvement. Accountabilities
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to improve clinical performance across priority populations and specialties through data analysis, measurement-gap assessments, and performance frameworks.
- Conduct clinical performance and specialty landscape assessments to identify gaps, emerging opportunities, and areas for future investment.
- Develop business cases, strategic recommendations, adoption approaches, and multi-year roadmaps aligned with enterprise priorities.
- Own and maintain a pipeline of future clinical performance opportunities, prioritizing initiatives according to potential clinical, operational, and business impact.
- Develop clinical performance frameworks, quality measures, and measurement strategies that enable meaningful evaluation and continuous improvement.
- Partner with clinical, analytics, operational, network, and business leaders to define success metrics, evaluate results, and translate insights into actionable improvements.
- Lead cross-functional strategic initiatives, facilitate alignment among stakeholders, and influence decisions without relying on direct authority.
- Present strategic recommendations and complex findings to senior and executive leadership using clear, compelling data-driven storytelling.
- Monitor healthcare industry trends, emerging practices, and innovations to identify opportunities to expand clinical capabilities and create sustainable enterprise value.
- Support governance and prioritization processes related to clinical performance measurement and strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree required, with 8+ years of experience in healthcare strategy, clinical strategy, healthcare consulting, population health, provider performance, value-based care, quality improvement, or a related field; alternatively, 4+ years of experience from a top-tier consulting environment.
- Demonstrated experience developing strategic recommendations using quantitative and qualitative analysis and translating findings into actionable business decisions.
- Proven ability to lead complex, cross-functional strategic initiatives and deliver results across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Experience partnering with analytics teams to interpret healthcare data and generate meaningful clinical and business insights.
- Strong experience developing business cases, strategic roadmaps, and enterprise-level recommendations for healthcare programs or initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive outcomes without direct authority.
- Excellent executive communication, presentation, facilitation, and storytelling skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's or doctoral degree in business, public health, epidemiology, healthcare administration, clinical informatics, or a related discipline.
- A clinical degree or professional license such as MD, DO, PharmD, APRN, NP, PA, RN, or BSN is advantageous.
- Familiarity with healthcare claims data, ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, quality measurement methodologies, and performance analytics is preferred.
- Experience with Medicare Advantage populations, healthcare literature, industry research, and emerging healthcare trends is a plus.
- Competitive annual salary of $115,200–$158,400, depending on location, qualifications, experience, and other job-related factors.
