This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Consultor(a) SAP HCM - PY PL/SR based in Brazil.

In this role, you will support and optimize SAP Payroll (PY) solutions to ensure accurate, efficient, and reliable payroll management. You will leverage your expertise in SAP HCM Payroll configuration, customization, and Brazilian labor legislation to address complex business requirements. Working within a technology consulting environment, you will contribute to implementation and support projects while helping clients improve their payroll processes. You will troubleshoot functional issues, recommend solutions, and ensure payroll operations align with applicable regulations and business needs. The role also involves collaborating across SAP modules, particularly Finance (FI) and Human Resources (HR), to maintain effective system integration. You will join a long-term consulting engagement with an indefinite duration, offering opportunities to apply your expertise and contribute to ongoing client success. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced SAP Payroll professional who enjoys solving complex problems, improving processes, and delivering reliable technology solutions.

Accountabilities

  • Provide functional support for SAP HCM Payroll (PY), ensuring efficient, accurate, and reliable payroll processing.
  • Configure and customize SAP PY functionalities to meet client requirements, operational needs, and applicable payroll regulations.
  • Analyze payroll processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, accuracy, compliance, and system performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex payroll issues, investigate root causes, and implement effective functional solutions.
  • Support SAP PY implementation projects, system enhancements, and ongoing maintenance activities.
  • Apply knowledge of Brazilian labor legislation and payroll requirements to ensure that system configurations and processes remain aligned with applicable rules.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other relevant stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP Payroll solutions.
  • Support integration between SAP PY and other SAP modules, particularly SAP FI and HR, ensuring consistency and reliability across processes.
  • Contribute to functional testing, issue validation, and the continuous improvement of payroll configurations and workflows.
  • Provide functional guidance and support to users and project stakeholders, helping ensure the effective use of SAP Payroll solutions.
  • At least five years of experience as an SAP PY Consultant, with a background in implementation projects, functional support, or both.
  • Advanced knowledge of payroll processes and Brazilian labor legislation.
  • Strong experience configuring and customizing the SAP HCM Payroll (PY) module.
  • Proficiency in SAP PY functional support, configuration, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex payroll problems while maintaining data accuracy and process reliability.
  • Knowledge of integration between SAP Payroll and other SAP modules, particularly Finance (FI) and Human Resources (HR).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex requirements and develop practical solutions.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with clients, technical teams, and business stakeholders.
  • A proactive, detail-oriented approach, with a commitment to quality, compliance, and continuous process improvement.
  • Nice to have: Knowledge of SAP Time Management.
  • Nice to have: SAP HCM or related SAP module certifications.
  • Nice to have: Intermediate or advanced English proficiency.
  • Contract type: Independent contractor (PJ).
  • Work arrangement: Remote.
  • Contract duration: Indefinite, with the opportunity to join the consulting team on a long-term basis.
  • Start date: As soon as the selected candidate is approved.
