The posting

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Fulah Language Specialist - Freelance AI Trainer Project based in Turkey.

Help shape the next generation of artificial intelligence by applying your Fulah language expertise to the development of more accurate, natural, and culturally aware AI systems. In this fully remote freelance opportunity, you will evaluate AI-generated content, refine linguistic outputs, and help improve the quality of language models. Your work will focus on grammar, syntax, semantics, fluency, style, and cultural appropriateness, ensuring that AI communicates effectively with Fulah speakers. You will collaborate with a team working on advanced AI technologies, contributing linguistic insights that strengthen model performance across diverse applications. This role is ideal for language professionals who value precision, cultural understanding, and innovation. Your expertise will help make AI-powered communication more accessible and reliable for Fulah-speaking communities worldwide.

Accountabilities:

  • Review, annotate, and refine Fulah-language text used in AI training and evaluation datasets.
  • Evaluate AI-generated responses for grammatical accuracy, fluency, syntax, semantics, tone, style, and overall linguistic quality.
  • Assess whether generated content reflects appropriate cultural context and authentic Fulah language usage.
  • Identify, categorize, and document recurring linguistic errors, inconsistencies, and patterns in model outputs.
  • Provide clear, detailed feedback to improve language model accuracy, naturalness, and contextual understanding.
  • Collaborate with project teams to refine prompts, evaluation methodologies, annotation practices, and linguistic guidelines.
  • Apply professional judgment to distinguish accurate, natural language from awkward, misleading, or culturally inappropriate outputs.
  • Maintain consistent quality standards and follow project-specific instructions when reviewing and annotating language data.
  • Contribute linguistic insights that help improve AI applications in education, accessibility, communication, and other language-related use cases.
  • Fluency in Fulah, with a strong understanding of its grammar, syntax, semantics, vocabulary, and language conventions.
  • Demonstrated professional experience in translation, linguistics, language teaching, editing, proofreading, or a related language-focused discipline.
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to evaluate language quality with precision.
  • Knowledge of Fulah-speaking communities, cultural contexts, idiomatic expressions, and appropriate language usage.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify subtle linguistic errors, inconsistencies, and unnatural phrasing.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to explain linguistic judgments clearly and consistently.
  • Ability to work independently, follow detailed instructions, and meet project-specific quality expectations.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to provide structured, actionable feedback.
  • Experience with AI training, language model evaluation, linguistic annotation, or data labeling.
  • Experience training, coaching, or assessing language learners or other language professionals.
  • Familiarity with prompt evaluation, structured annotation guidelines, or quality assurance processes for language data.
  • Hourly compensation ranging from $8 to $65 per hour, depending on experience, expertise, and geographic location.
  • Fully remote work arrangement, with a worldwide project scope.
  • Freelance contract offering flexibility in how you organize your work, subject to project requirements.
  • Opportunity to contribute to the development and improvement of advanced AI technologies.
  • The chance to apply your Fulah language expertise to applications supporting education, accessibility, and global communication.
  • Professional exposure to AI training, language evaluation, and linguistic quality assurance.
  • As this is a contractor position, company-sponsored benefits such as health insurance and paid time off are not provided.
  • Contractors must supply their own secure computer and maintain a stable internet connection.

Why it works

3×

more interviews than doing it yourself with ChatGPT.

ChatGPT writes a CV and never learns what happened to it. We see every reply. For each CV we know:

  • How it was written, and how the review scored it
  • When we applied, and how long after the posting went up
  • Which posting, which company, which city
  • Who got the interview, and who heard nothing

That is how we know which CVs get called.
