This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Gerente de Projetos SAP S/4HANA SR based in Brazil.

In this role, you will lead complex SAP S/4HANA implementation, conversion, and tax reform projects, ensuring successful delivery aligned with business objectives. You will oversee project planning, execution, budgets, timelines, resources, and risk management in a dynamic technology consulting environment. Using the SAP Activate methodology, you will drive structured project delivery and promote collaboration across technical teams and business stakeholders. Your leadership will be essential in translating business requirements into effective SAP solutions and coordinating integrations with existing systems. You will monitor project progress, maintain stakeholder alignment, and ensure quality throughout the implementation lifecycle. You will also oversee end-user training, transition activities, and post-implementation support to encourage adoption and operational continuity. This opportunity is ideal for a senior project management professional with strong SAP expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to lead large-scale transformation initiatives.

Accountabilities

  • Lead and manage SAP S/4HANA implementation, conversion, and Brazilian Tax Reform projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and project scope.
  • Apply the SAP Activate methodology to structure project phases, manage deliverables, and ensure efficient execution within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Define and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, objectives, budgets, resource allocation, and performance indicators.
  • Ensure that business requirements are properly gathered, documented, mapped, and translated into effective SAP S/4HANA solutions.
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams, including SAP consultants, IT analysts, developers, and business stakeholders, fostering collaboration and accountability.
  • Manage SAP S/4HANA integration with existing enterprise systems and platforms, ensuring consistency across business processes and technology environments.
  • Monitor project progress, track deliverables, identify deviations, and communicate status updates to stakeholders to maintain transparency and alignment.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, dependencies, issues, and constraints throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously, ensuring appropriate prioritization and adherence to deadlines and quality standards.
  • Oversee end-user training, change adoption activities, deployment readiness, and post-implementation support to facilitate a smooth transition to the new solution.
  • Use project management tools and SAP Cloud ALM capabilities, where applicable, to support planning, monitoring, issue management, and project governance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project management practices, stakeholder communication, and delivery processes.
  • Proven experience as an SAP Project Manager, with a strong background in SAP S/4HANA implementations, conversions, and Brazilian Tax Reform projects.
  • Experience managing at least two SAP S/4HANA implementation projects.
  • Advanced knowledge of the SAP Activate methodology, including practical application in large-scale SAP transformation initiatives.
  • Strong experience in SAP project management, covering planning, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, governance, and delivery oversight.
  • Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA conversion processes and the ability to coordinate technical and functional teams throughout the conversion lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with SAP Cloud ALM and its application in project planning, monitoring, and delivery management.
  • Solid understanding of business processes in the services sector and the ability to translate operational requirements into technology solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects or workstreams concurrently while meeting strict deadlines and maintaining delivery quality.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and business requirements to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership, team management, decision-making, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving, risk mitigation, and project execution.
  • Nice to have: SAP Activate certification.
  • Nice to have: PMP certification or an equivalent project management qualification.
  • Nice to have: Advanced English proficiency.
  • Work arrangement: Remote.
  • Contract type: Independent contractor (PJ).
  • Contract duration: 12 months, with the possibility of renewal.
  • Start date: As soon as the selected candidate is approved.
